What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining both backend and frontend applications as part of a full-stack development team

• Building scalable and maintainable backend services, with NestJS being our primary backend framework

• Developing modern frontend applications using technologies such as Next.js and Angular

• Working with databases and applying fundamental database concepts, with MongoDB as our primary database

• Working closely with AI-powered development tools and embracing vibe coding as part of our day-to-day development workflow

• Exploring and utilizing AI tools, agents, and automation platforms such as n8n to improve development processes and productivity

• Working with a microservice-based architecture and technologies such as Redis and RabbitMQ

• Working with cloud-based infrastructure across providers such as Google Cloud and AWS

• Contributing to AI-powered features and projects and staying curious about emerging AI technologies

• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in our production environment quickly and effectively

• Investigating production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing reliable solutions

• Working across multiple repositories, services, backend and frontend codebases, and quickly gaining an understanding of existing systems

• Participating in code reviews and contributing to code quality, maintainability, and engineering best practices

• Collaborating closely with the team in an Agile environment throughout the software development life cycle

• Continuously learning new technologies and adapting to different tools, frameworks, and approaches as our technology stack evolves

What We Are Looking For

Required Skills and Experience

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Hands-on experience developing both backend and frontend applications

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience with at least one backend and one frontend programming language or framework

• Fundamental understanding of software development concepts, including APIs, databases, version control, and software architecture

• Basic understanding of database concepts and experience working with a database system

• Basic understanding of Git and version control practices

• Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to work in a production environment and take ownership of debugging and resolving issues

• Ability and willingness to quickly understand and navigate large, existing codebases

• Openness to AI-assisted development and willingness to incorporate AI tools into the software development workflow

• Strong learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies, frameworks, and development practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with NestJS, Next.js, Angular, or MongoDB

• Experience working with microservice architectures

• Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging and caching technologies

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS

• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools, AI agents, or automation platforms such as n8n

• Experience building or integrating AI-powered applications and features

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and vibe coding workflows

• Experience working with production systems and troubleshooting live issues

• Experience working across multiple repositories and services within a large codebase

• Experience participating in code reviews and providing constructive technical feedback

• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, or cloud infrastructure
