Sufle is an AWS Advanced Services Partner that specializes in Cloud, DevOps/DevSecOps, Custom Software Development, and Compliance Services. We help businesses of all scales adapt, implement, and embrace next-gen tech practices through customized solution offerings, managed services, and training at every building block.

For our part-time, long-term internship position within the Cloud Engineering team, we are seeking an enthusiastic team player who is eager to learn and apply newly gained skills in practice. We are looking for open-minded and collaborative individuals who will grow continually with the team. You will be working in a respectful, transparent, and collaborative work environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in setting up, deploying, and maintaining large-scale systems.
• Contribute to ensuring high platform availability.
• Help automate and modernize manual/legacy workloads.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in developing infrastructure as code.
• Assist in the continuous monitoring, optimization, and improvement of working environments.
• Collaborate with the team and participate in on-call rotation.
• Work closely with other teams to troubleshoot and debug solutions.
• Make a direct impact on the daily operations of customers worldwide.

What We Are Looking For

Required Skills and Experience

• Enrollment in a BA/BS degree program in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• A strong desire to learn and adapt working with cloud environments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with a Linux distribution.
• Basic understanding of container runtimes.
• Fluency in command-line interface (CLI) usage.
• Experience with Python and shell scripting.
• A basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience as a Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
• Experience with a public cloud provider in a production environment.
• Exposure to writing infrastructure as code.
• A public repository showcasing your contributions.
• Certifications in cloud computing, DevOps tools, networking, etc.
